We are actively searching for an Associate Attorney. We have offices in Tipp City, Troy, Sidney, Dayton, Delaware, Kettering, Springfield, Fairborn, and Eaton. The successful candidate must be outgoing, enjoy collaborating with senior citizens, and wish to be a partner in a growing firm. An active license to practice law in Ohio is mandatory. You must have active status as an attorney with the Ohio Supreme Court. We need a team-player who is computer savvy, detail driven, professional, and productive. This position calls for client interaction on a daily basis. Experienced applicants are preferred. However, we will train the right person.

The salary range is $70,000 to $100,000, depending on experience. Attorneys may join the firm’s health & welfare plans on the first of the month following 30 days of employment.

Duties

· Conduct initial consultations with clients.

· Legal research on various topics including, but not limited to, estate planning, trust administration, Medicaid, and probate law.

· Draft documents such as advance directives, powers of attorney, probate pleadings, trusts, trust funding instructions, deeds, trust memoranda, and private settlement agreements.

* Negotiate settlements and agreements, such as Medicaid recovery matters.

* Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and provide support.

* Handle document executions in our offices and at client homes, hospitals, and long-term care facilities.

* Engage with clients about their estate planning, probate matters, Medicaid plans and applications, Guardianships, and trust funding.

Experience

· Experience in probate, Medicaid, guardianships, family law, estate planning, real estate, personal property and real estate transactions, and tax law is advantageous.

· Strong skills in legal drafting and human interaction are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
