About this role: This is a high-impact role focused on expanding actnano’s global presence and brand leadership. The role involves custom content for priority markets and defining actnano’s brand voice, content, and communications to meet Fortune 500-level expectations of global customers. You will work directly with the Director of Marketing and SVP of Commercial Growth, blending strategy with hands-on execution, owning marketing output, and driving cross-functional coordination to move the business forward.
Core Responsibilities Strategic Communications
Content development Roadmap: Maintain and drive an annual content development roadmap, aligning initiatives to company growth priorities and execution timelines.
Brand Strategy: Lead a wide spectrum of brand communications, internal and through third parties, with a focus on hands-on execution to ensure actnano shows up with impact.
Communication Planning: Develop and execute external communication planning and manage media relations to strengthen the company’s voice while protecting and enhancing reputation.
Thought Leadership: Ghostwrite or edit executive articles and industry insights to strengthen the company’s position as an expert in its field.
Leadership Visibility: Regularly communicate goals, progress, risks, and resource needs to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Content Creation & Technical Marketing
Fortune 500 Messaging: Elevate and own actnano’s corporate messaging and positioning to ensure a consistent, world-class brand perception.
High-Impact Content: Lead hands-on creation of technical copywriting, social media updates, blog posts, and multimedia assets for different markets.
Sales Enablement: Standardize and refine all customer-facing materials, including global selling collateral and sales tools.
Modular Pitch Systems: Build and maintain a modular Master Pitch Deck that can be customized for different industries and contexts.
Social Proof: Collect and integrate customer testimonials and case studies into presentations to provide social proof.
Commercial Translation: Partner with Engineering and Technical teams to translate technical data into commercial-friendly content.
Tradeshow & Demonstrator Excellence
Global Events: Support end-to-end look and feel of actnano’s trade show presence (e.g., CES, APEX, Productronica) with high-quality execution.
Demonstrator Polishing: Ensure all technical demonstrators and booth materials are professional and presented to a best-in-class standard.
Digital, Web & SEO/GEO
Strategic Awareness: Identify and secure placements on relevant platforms, podcasts, and advertising approaches to raise awareness among key decision-makers.
Digital Infrastructure: Support website refresh/redesign, SEO/GEO strategy, and targeted digital advertising for top-of-funnel growth.
Resource Management: Identify required internal and external resources and coordinate delivery of marketing assets, acting as a primary point of contact as needed.

Balance: Manages coordination with hands-on content creation and execution.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Works with Sales, the Strategic Growth Office, and Technical teams to communicate actnano’s value propositions.
Technical & Creative Acumen
Technical Copywriting: Ability to translate complex data into commercial-friendly content.
Compelling Content: Generate high-quality content across multiple media (static, video, audio) for various platforms and audiences.
Professional Standards: Maintain high standards for delivery across all content, events, and campaigns.
Requirements Experience: At least 3-5 years of corporate marketing or communications experience with a proven B2B strategy and collateral development track record.
Content portfolio: Strong examples of customer-facing collateral, outward brand images and videos, and external placements demonstrating experience in a similar role.
Education: Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Design, or related field preferred.
Technical Skills: Experience creating technical marketing content; proficiency in managing social media, SEO/GEO, and multimedia production.
Vendor Management: Experience identifying and managing third-party resources such as web developers and PR agencies.
The salary range for this position is $80,000 – $129,000 per year, which reflects the base pay the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay at the time of this posting.
