What you'll be doing day to day
Leverages interior design knowledge and experience to execute room settings, vignettes, and sales support areas.
Executes the showroom vision to reflect a wide variety of styles, price points and living situations.
Implement department action plan to grow the business and increase profitability.
Uses creative approach to solve home furnishing challenges that exist in the local market.
Utilizes interior design tools to ensure simplicity, cost-effectiveness and efficiency in store design.
Remains up-to-date and knowledgeable about current home furnishing and interior design trends.
Secures an impression of new and inspiring solutions to meet the demands of our customers.

Qualifications
2 years interior design or similar experience.
Proficient in Adobe, AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup or similar software.
Associate's degree OR Interior Design Certificate required.

JOB TYPE: Interior Design Specialist. BENEFITS ELIGIBLE: Yes. HOURS: 34-40hrs /wk. The pay range for this role is $19.96-28.20. Portfolio Preferred!! Must know REVIT and/or AutoCad. Comfortable using computer programs like Excel & PowerPoint. Be able to use power tools and be able to be on a ladder and lift 30lbs above their head. Can paint walls and feels comfortable moving furniture. An eye for style with a willingness to design for the many. A strong communicator written & verbal. Able to meet tight deadlines and comfortable working in a fast pace environment. Degree in interior design is preferred.
