Account Director Description Please note: This role is contingent upon a contract award. The Account Director serves as the primary client partner and strategic lead for health communication campaigns. This role combines client relationship management, project leadership, and business growth responsibilities, ensuring delivery excellence and alignment with client objectives. Location: Remote As an Account Director you will:
Client Leadership: Build and maintain strong client relationships; act as the main point of contact for senior stakeholders.
Campaign Oversight: Lead planning and execution of multi-channel health communication campaigns, including formative research, media placement, and digital/social activities.
Project Management: Manage timelines, budgets, and workflows; oversee QA/QC processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Team Coordination: Direct cross-functional teams (creative, marketing, analytics) and external partners to achieve campaign goals.
Performance Analysis: Monitor KPIs, analyze campaign metrics, and optimize strategies based on data insights.
Business Development: Contribute to revenue growth by identifying new opportunities and supporting proposal development.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
U.S. Citizenship required (required by federal government for the position)
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Health, or related field.
5+ years managing large-scale communications or marketing contracts, including budget and schedule oversight.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with federal health clients or public health campaigns.
Familiarity with tools like Smartsheet and project management methodologies.
Prior award-winning campaign experience a plus.
Professional Skills:
Strong project management skills, including planning, organization, and multitasking.
Excellent interpersonal (verbal, written), active listening, and organizational skills
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Trello, Monday.com) and MS Office Suite.
Strong leadership, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work collaboratively and establish strong working relationships with colleagues and clients
Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is: $98,187.00 - $166,919.00 DC Remote Office (DC99) group id: 10106050
