Overview
Amazon’s Brand Innovation Lab is seeking a Conceptual Creative (Art Director) to develop unique campaigns for global brands across Amazon’s platforms, including Prime Video, Alexa, Twitch, and more. The role is permanent and involves collaborating with copywriters, designers, solutions managers, and producers to create customer‑centric experiences on and off Amazon.

Key Responsibilities

Concept, design, and execute innovative ad campaigns and experiences for global brands.

Partner with copywriters, designers, program managers, developers, strategists, and producers to create customer‑focused solutions that meet advertiser objectives.

Lead campaigns from brief to execution and collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external agency partners.

Own client relationships and use data and insights to build strategy and concepts.

Present ideas and concepts to clients, agencies, and internal stakeholders.

Ideate across film, print, digital, out‑of‑home, experiential, and social media.

Manage multiple projects within budget and deadlines while maintaining high creative standards.

Drive proactive product and idea development for the customer.

Day in the Life

Partner with brands, media, and creative agencies on innovative campaigns for sectors such as automotive, finance, energy, and telecommunications.

Create brand experiences from documentary films for Prime Video to Alexa‑branded experiences.

Present campaigns to brand clients and partners.

Review edits and work in progress, collect and respond to feedback.

Collaborate with the team on proactive projects and initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

Experience driving creative strategy and execution at an agency or an in‑house creative team.

Experience working with a creative or advertising agency, network, streaming service, or studio.

Portfolio or samples demonstrating user‑centered design solutions across desktop and mobile.

Extensive knowledge of industry design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma, and basic UX design skills.

Strong presentation, storytelling, organization, and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote.

Experience developing cross‑functional relationships with product, consumer research, and marketing teams.

Leadership experience in creative development from concept to delivery.

Managing internal design teams, copywriters, external agencies, and freelancers.

Presenting creative concepts to senior executives.

Managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines.
