Key Responsibilities:

Perform product design and analysis in support of manufacturing process development and R&D initiatives.

Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, primarily Creo, to create and modify complex mechanical designs.

Apply Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools like ANSYS or ABAQUS to validate and optimize designs for performance and manufacturability.

Provide hands‑on engineering support for prototype development, testing, evaluation, and final implementation.

Collaborate closely with cross‑functional project teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project success.

Develop and maintain precise technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and project reports.

Support a diverse portfolio of projects involving aircraft, vehicles, armaments, advanced materials, and custom manufacturing equipment.

Basic Qualifications:

Candidate must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, materials, industrial or aerospace engineering with a minimum of 2 years of professional engineering experience.

Advanced proficiency with Computer Aided Design (CAD) Software such as Creo, Solidworks, etc.

Hands‑on experience with manufacturing processes, equipment development, and prototyping.

Working knowledge of Finite Element Analysis Software such as ANSYS or ABAQUS.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a team environment.

Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.

Ability to travel occasionally to support project needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

The position requires a high degree of technical competence regarding the broad application of engineering principles to the development of new capabilities and/or solutions to customers’ challenging problems, while working with an experienced engineering team.

Work experience in the USG Defense or commercial manufacturing industries is preferred.
