Qualifications & Experience:
Active and unencumbered RN license
Minimum of one year recent experience in an emergency room setting
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC strongly preferred
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Ability to rapidly adapt to changing situations and demonstrate composure under pressure
Experience with electronic medical record systems is a plus
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care in the emergency department
Assess, triage, and monitor patients, responding promptly to rapidly changing conditions
Initiate and administer intravenous therapies, medications, and other essential interventions
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
Educate patients and families on condition management, procedures, and post-discharge care
Maintain detailed and timely documentation in electronic medical records
Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, safety standards, and best practices
