
Meeting and Events Setup Technician

Job Summary: The Meeting and Events Setup Technician is responsible for staging and setting up conference and event spaces to support meetings, events, and daily office operations. This role involves physical setup of furniture and event materials, maintaining professional presentation of shared spaces, and assisting with light facilities tasks. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to remain active throughout the workday, and the capability to lift and move equipment while ensuring event spaces are prepared to a high standard. Key Responsibilities:
Set up and stage conference rooms and event spaces including tables, chairs, and supplies.
Move and transport furniture and equipment between buildings as needed.
Maintain a professional appearance of common areas and meeting spaces.
Perform work orders using a computer and/or PDA system.
Assist with office supply setup for events and meeting areas.
Support general building operations including light custodial tasks and minor repair duties.
Complete additional light-duty operational tasks as assigned.
Required Experience:
High School Diploma required.
Ability to lift and move up to lbs.
Ability to remain on your feet for most of the workday while performing setup activities.
Strong attention to detail when preparing event and meeting environments.
Nice-to-Have Experience:
Prior experience in event setup, facilities support, or building services.
Experience working in office or corporate event environments.
