The primary responsibilities of the Interventional Radiology RN include monitoring and assessing patients, providing education to patients and family members, ensuring understanding of procedures and care plans, inserting and removing intravenous lines, administering conscious sedation drugs and other medications, monitoring patient patterns and vital signs during procedures, and overseeing patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
