Job Description
Seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to serve at Essentia Living Center, a long‑term care facility in Fosston, Minnesota. The RN or LPN works 12‑hour day shifts (6 am–6 pm) averaging 30 hours per week, with every third weekend and a holiday rotation required. The position offers sign‑on bonuses ($3,000 for LPNs, $10,000 for RNs with an ADN, $15,000 for RNs with a BSN) and full‑time benefits.
Responsibilities (RN)
Organize and provide care to residents through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on licensure, preparation, and job descriptions.
Contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia and ensure compliance with the Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities (LPN)
Provide care to a group of primarily elderly patients, assuming responsibility and accountability for their wellbeing.
Use therapeutic skills, the nursing process, environmental control, and collaborate with the health care team.
Work cooperatively and independently, maintaining efficiency under stress.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed in the appropriate state(s) of employment.
Current RN licensure (for RN positions); LPN licensure for LPN positions.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month of hire.
Education as required for licensure.

Compensation & Schedule
