Overview
ModeX Therapeutics is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Scientist I with experience in developing innovative technology and biotherapeutics. The position requires expertise in vector systems, gene delivery and multispecific antibody therapeutic research. Responsibilities
Execute research experiments such as DNA vector construction, mRNA production, protein expression/purification, in vitro assays and in vivo models to evaluate efficacy of novel gene delivery technology or biotherapeutics.
The individual will work in our state-of-the-art laboratory and be responsible for experimental planning and execution, data analysis and presentation.
Qualifications
B.S. or M.S. in molecular biology, immunology, cancer biology or related field
Scientist I: 12+ years of working experience in academia or industry
Expertise in molecular biology, gene delivery, immunology, and immunoassay
Hands-on experience in molecular cloning, gene delivery using mRNA/LNP or DNA/LNP, cell culture (including primary cell lines), protein expression/purification, multi-color flow cytometry, T cell-based assays and immunological techniques (ICS, ELISA, Luminex, cytotoxicity, immunoblotting, etc.)
Experience in lab management will be a plus
Excellent written and oral communication, organization, and data analysis skills
Outstanding troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Highly adaptable to a fast-paced work environment and capable of working independently as well as within project teams
