Job Overview
Supervisor Clinic RN is an integral member of the clinic leadership team, bringing the professional nursing perspective and expertise to the group and upholding the standards of clinical practice. Position is responsible for the oversight of clinical staff performance, coaching, mentoring, developing, and implementing clinical best practices. In addition, this position oversees and supervises clinical quality, ensuring state and federal compliance and clinical support patient care services are provided in an efficient and safe manner that is consistent with clinical best practices. The Supervisor Clinic RN provides direct patient care at the top of RN scope of practice, according to the individualized needs of the patient using the nursing process and in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. Coordinates patient care activities with other members of the health care team in a collegial relationship and must be competent to analyze patient data with an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional/psychosocial, spiritual and chronological maturation process.
Responsibilities
Oversee clinical staff performance, coaching, mentoring, developing, and implementing clinical best practices.
Oversee and supervise clinical quality, ensuring state and federal compliance and that patient care services are provided efficiently and safely.
Provide direct patient care at the top of RN scope of practice, using the nursing process and in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.
Coordinate patient care activities with other health care team members in a collegial relationship and analyze patient data with a comprehensive understanding of patients’ cognitive, physical, emotional/psychosocial, spiritual, and chronological maturation processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent education/experience.
Associate Nursing degree with a minimum of 3 years recent RN experience.
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire – for locations in Washington.
Completion of an ONS approved Chemotherapy course; maintain certification—Cancer Center Infusion East, Infusion, Transfusion Chemotherapy, Outpatient Transfusion upon hire.
Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC); maintain certification—Lactation Postpartum, Postpartum Care Center upon hire.
Three years of RN experience managing complex patients, or successful completion of an RN Ambulatory Residency program.
Experience providing clinical education to clinical support staff within an outpatient/ambulatory care/medical group environment, including medical assistants, nurses, and related clinical positions.
Preferred Qualifications
Three years of demonstrated experience providing progressive leadership, clinical staff education, competency development and evaluation, staff training and performance evaluation.
Three years of experience providing patient education.
Experience working in an ambulatory setting.

Compensation
Pay range: $49.59 - $76.98 per hour. Additional compensation may be available as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
