Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our team. This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about client advocacy, and wants to play a meaningful role in case strategy and resolution.
Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Maintaining an in-office presence and collaborating with the legal team
Managing client communications and case strategy
Reviewing, finalizing, and sending demand letters
Negotiating settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel
Reviewing and finalizing settlement statements
Assisting with settlement disbursements and case closings
Handling litigation matters, including:
Reviewing disclosures
Drafting and responding to discovery
Preparing witnesses
Writing motions, responses, and replies
Conducting depositions
Appearing at hearings
Trying cases before juries when necessary
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Colorado
2-4+ years of personal injury experience preferred
2+ years of personal injury litigation experience preferred
Strong negotiation and litigation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
Client-focused mindset with a high level of professionalism
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $175,000
Commission: 5% on all settlements and verdicts where the attorney performed significant work
Health insurance coverage
