Job Description
AECOM is seeking an experienced
IT Specialist II – PMIS
to support the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority’s capital improvement program. This role functions as both a
Project Optimization Lead and Senior Project Management Systems Analyst , responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) used across active airport construction projects.
The selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring system performance, data integrity, and user adoption across platforms such as PMWeb and timekeeping systems (e.g., Santrack), while supporting project teams, consultants, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Provide
Tier 2 technical support
for PMIS platforms, troubleshooting system issues, workflows, and reporting discrepancies; escalate issues as needed
Administer
user access, security roles, and project setup , ensuring compliance with contractual and project requirements
Support and maintain
PMIS applications (e.g., PMWeb, Santrack) , including configuration, testing modules, workflows, and reporting tools
Develop and deliver
training programs and user guides
for internal staff, consultants, and contractors across multiple user groups
Troubleshoot and validate
data integrity , including QA/QC of project data, reporting outputs, and system integrations
Support
timekeeping systems administration , including user account management, batch processing, SAP BOE configuration, and Adobe EchoSign workflows
Perform
software installations, updates, and system configurations
across project environments
Collaborate with stakeholders to
improve system usability , including UI enhancements, workflow optimization, and reporting improvements
Participate in configuration and requirements meetings to support continuous system improvement and alignment with project needs
Ensure proper documentation and compliance for
consultant and contractor system access and onboarding
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
+ 2 years of relevant experience , or demonstrated equivalency of education and experience
Must be able to pass
TSA background screening and drug/alcohol testing
for airport badging
Valid
driver’s license
and ability to meet client driving requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting
Project Management Information Systems (PMIS)
in a professional environment
Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
Experience with
software troubleshooting, system integrations, and error resolution
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment
Experience supporting PMIS platforms such as
PMWeb, Procore, Oracle Unifier, or Prolog
Experience in
construction, infrastructure, or capital program environments
Familiarity with
timekeeping systems and workflow automation tools
Exposure to
reporting tools, scripting, or system configuration
Experience supporting
public sector or airport/aviation projects
