ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN 1-4

Overview

DISTRICT 02-UNIT 500. This position assists in the Districts Permits Unit, receiving supervision from the Engineer 6. The incumbent is responsible for assisting and issuing all permits originating in District 02 and for monitoring work associated with those permits.
Responsibilities

This position assists in the District permits Unit. Assist the District Permit Specialist and Permit Engineer.
Meet with walk-in customers to fill out permits.
Research permits on content manager/remote system for various District 02 personnel.
Assist with emergency operations/disaster response.

Engineering Technician 1 - $14.00/hour
Engineering Technician 2 - $16.03/hour
Engineering Technician 3 - $18.35/hour
Engineering Technician 4 - $21.00/hour
Additional $2.00/Hourly Premium Pay for Every Hour Worked
Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

Possession of a high school diploma or GED; OR six months of experience in sub-professional engineering, heavy mobile equipment operation, or mobile equipment maintenance.
