You will work directly with individuals in need of assistance, including those with intellectual or developmental disabilities or complex medical needs, across 15 states.

Full‑time & Part‑time

schedules. All staff in this position should be prepared to work some weekend shifts and holidays.

Responsibilities

Provide Hands‑On Care : Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, transportation, housekeeping, and laundry while fostering independence.

Support Mental Health & Behavioral Management : Use your skills to help individuals overcome behavioral challenges, offering compassionate, person‑centered care.

Create a Safe & Welcoming Environment : Maintain a clean, safe space that ensures comfort and support while helping individuals reach personal goals.

Mentor & Guide : Provide supervision, positive reinforcement, and guidance to help individuals achieve their aspirations.

Qualifications

Minimum

3 years of experience

working with individuals who have challenging behaviors, such as physical or verbal aggression, property destruction, or self‑injury.

Must be at least 18 years of age (some sites require 21).

High School Diploma or GED.

Passion for Helping Others : Experience with mental health conditions (e.g., bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety) or individuals with disabilities.

Physical stamina to stay on your feet, walk, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Basic computer skills for tracking progress and documentation.

Good communication skills for documenting care, following support plans, and collaborating with internal and external team members.
