Position Overview
The Service Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on equipment or systems. Essential Job Functions

Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on equipment and systems according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.

Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.

Repair and replace defective parts, components, and systems as needed.

Maintain accurate records of services performed, including work orders and maintenance logs.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices during all service activities.

Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues and recommend solutions.

Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure efficient operations.

Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to service and maintenance.

Provide training and support to junior technicians or apprentices as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a relevant field preferred.

Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems.

Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
