Job Summary
AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Bishop, California.
Responsibilities
Provide Physical Therapy services as a clinician in acute and outpatient settings, with a focus on orthopedics and related rehabilitation needs.
Manage a patient caseload that is primarily outpatient (mostly orthopedics) with some neuro, general deconditioning, balance/fall prevention, and other diagnoses depending on the PT's skills; inpatient/acute care as needed.
Collaborate with the healthcare team and communicate effectively with patients and families.
Utilize EMR systems (Cerner) and other computer software as required (e.g., McKesson Clinical Care Station, Policy Manager, OneSource, HPF, One Content).
Attend to administrative requirements such as licensure, BLS maintenance, and documentation; ensure readiness for on-call obligations (0 on-call requirements noted as per posting: 4x10s on call once a month).
