Job Summary
We are searching for the best talent for Neuroscience Sales Specialist to cover the Miami South territory including Kendall, South Miami, Cutler Bay, Homestead, and the Keys to Key West.
The Neuroscience Sales Specialist has overall responsibility for meeting or exceeding sales expectations within their assigned geographies in an ethical and compliant manner. They are responsible for understanding and identifying customer needs, aligning marketing resources and supporting pull‑through activities. They will embody and communicate Intra‑Cellular’s corporate vision of improving the lives of patients suffering from neuro‑psychiatric disorders.
The role includes developing product and disease‑state knowledge, engaging in clinical dialogue with healthcare professionals, creating local strategic and tactical plans, managing budget and expenses, and ensuring successful territory execution.
Responsibilities
Drive sales performance by calling HCP offices and mental health community centers both in‑person and virtually, following compliance guidelines.
Use assigned budgets effectively to achieve territory objectives and customize client interactions ethically.
Maintain an up‑to‑date understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers, and share insights with relevant Intra‑Cellular stakeholders.
Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region and identify appropriate programs/resources.
Work with the Regional Business Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan ensuring achievement of all business objectives.
Capitalize on formulary approvals and other business opportunities through strategic plan implementation.
Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on shared objectives and best‑practice sharing.
Provide timely and accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communications, sample and expense reporting.
Inform and build a comprehensive business plan based on depth and breadth of customer needs and resources.
Complete all company and job‑related training within required timelines.

Requirements
Minimum 2 years of relevant healthcare or business‑to‑business sales experience, or recently transitioned from Active‑Duty Military.
3+ years of sales experience in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred.
Experience in launch, antipsychotic, or bipolar sales highly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
Strong desire to improve patients’ lives and empathy towards caregivers.
High integrity and compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
Self‑motivated, initiative‑driven, with strong decision‑making, teamwork and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
Proven track record of success in adapting to evolving environments such as during Covid‑19.
Agility and adaptability to a changing telemedicine/virtual environment.
Data/metrics analysis to assess progress, diagnose issues, and identify opportunities.
Ability to establish new customer relationships and communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
Work hours may include meetings outside normal working hours.
Overnight and domestic travel may be required.
Must be able to perform all essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Bilingual Spanish/English highly preferred.
