Part‑time Weekends Aide – MH/BH

Reporting to the nurse manager/program director, the certified nurse assistant/mental health worker will assist in the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health of patients assigned to his/her care. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting wellness, health/education, and clearly documenting patient activities.

Essential Knowledge / Skills
Knowledge of patient rights.
Knowledge of physiological changes that occur with patients age 55 plus.
Minimum Essential Experience
Six months recent hospital (med/surg and/or psych) experience required.
Minimum Essential Education
Assaultive behavior management training required within 90 days from date of hire.
Required Licensure / Certifications
Current California Certified Nurse Assistant Certificate preferred.
Current BLS (CPR) certificate required.
