Overview
Registered Nurse - ICU in Utica, New York. Start date: 06/15/2026. Travel - temporary assignment for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,254–$2,279 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care for critically ill adults in the ICU, including Neuro/Med, CTICU, and Trauma populations
Monitor hemodynamics, ventilator management, and use of CRRT (PrismaFlex) as needed; manage IABP and ICP monitoring when applicable
Administer medications, adjust treatments per physician orders, and document progress in the EPIC EMR
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement care plans, including neurovascular interventions and post‑operative trajectory
Respond to patient changes, alarms, and emergencies; ensure patient safety, comfort, and infection prevention
Participate in care coordination, discharge planning, and family communication; maintain compliance with hospital policies and standards
Requirements
Active New York RN license with Nursys verification; ability to provide verification of all RN licenses
Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
2+ years of ICU experience (ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU); travel experience required
Proficiency with EPIC EMR
Valid driver’s license with address that matches demographics; RTO (Reasonable Time Off) must be included at time of submission
RN education appropriate for licensure as an registered nurse; ongoing licensure maintenance required
