Program Overview
The Democracy Summer Fellow program trains high‑school and college students in political organizing, voter registration, and leadership skills. Fellows participate in a curriculum of virtual seminars, workshops, and in‑person campaign work, gaining hands‑on experience in voter outreach and election strategy.
Program Details
Dates: Monday, June 22 to Friday, August 7, 2026.
Commitment: 15–20 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Attend at least 4 hours per week of virtual seminars, discussions, and workshops.
Participate in weekly speaker sessions on Mondays from 12:00 pm–2:00 pm ET / 9:00 am–11:00 am PT and an additional two‑hour interactive Zoom workshop held at various times during the week.
Engage in 10–15 hours per week of campaign organizing, primarily in‑person with some remote duties (schedules vary by campaign).
Qualifications
Must be at least 16 years old.
Benefits
Minimum stipend of $575 provided by the campaign.

Resume, cover letter, and short answer questions. Priority application deadline: Wednesday, April 15, 2026. Most applications close after this date. Fellows who apply before the priority deadline will receive notification before the end of April.
