
Part-Time Clinical Research Coordinator

Job Description
Dr. Kristina Petersen’s lab in the Department of Nutritional Sciences is seeking a part‑time Clinical Research Coordinator to support externally funded clinical trials investigating dietary interventions and risk factors for heart disease and diabetes.
Responsibilities
Coordinate participant recruitment.
Conduct telephone and clinic screenings.
Coordinate data collection visits.
Schedule visits.
Manage participant flow through the trials.
Perform research‑related administrative tasks.
Qualifications
Reliable, proactive, task‑oriented, attentive to detail.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Prior experience in humans subjects research required.
Prior experience in clinical trial coordination highly desired.
Training will be provided for specific tasks.
Work Hours
Approximately 20 hours per week. Typical working hours Monday to Friday 6:45 am to 10:45 am. In‑person in State College, Pennsylvania.
Location & Work Arrangement
Approval of remote and hybrid work is not guaranteed regardless of work location. This is an in‑person job.
