
Lecturer/Teaching Assistant Professor - Criminal Justice

Position Overview
The Department of Criminal Justice at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University seeks a full-time, non-tenure track lecturer to teach in-person and online courses. The incumbent will teach four courses per semester, with class assignments determined by the Department Chair. Additional duties include advising students, mentoring career development, and serving on departmental, college, and university committees, such as representing the department at New Student Orientations.
Minimum Requirements
• Master's degree with professional experience in the discipline for appointment as a Lecturer.
• PhD with professional experience in the discipline for appointment at the rank of Teaching Assistant Professor.
Preferred Qualifications
At least five years of teaching and professional experience, with proven skills in the discipline.
Required License or Certification
None.
Work Arrangement
On-site (Employees are primarily in the office and/or have a critical job requirement that requires dedicated office space on-site).
