Job Title: Culture Laboratory Technician
Position Summary: The Culture Lab Technician performs data entry and processing of biological indicator spore strip tests in a high‑volume culture lab. Primarily serving the dental industry, B.I. spore strip tests are used in autoclave performance testing for sterility assurance.
Shift:
Monday- Friday, 7:30 am- 4:00 pm

Duties
Sorts and labels test envelopes and performs data entry based on information provided in envelope
Aseptically transfer spore strips into test tubes
Operates fill machines and ensures proper media fill into tubes, including setup and breakdown
Follows SOPs to ensure appropriate incubation protocol
Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to counting and opening test envelopes, cleaning work area, restock supplies, etc.
Removes samples from incubators and visually examines for bacterial growth
Routine cleaning of laboratory glassware and equipment
Daily monitoring of incubator temperatures

Pay range for this opportunity is $15.13 - $23.08.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
