Your Role on the Team
Position Details: This position is eligible for a $10,000 sign‑on bonus; 50% will be paid on the first pay period following the hire date, and the remaining 50% will be paid on the first pay period following the completion of six months of employment. Prior Employment Restriction: All potential recipients cannot have been employed within the UC System for the past 12 months in order to qualify for the hiring bonus.

Position Summary
Under the general direction of the Director of Diagnostic Imaging, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist is directly responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient nuclear medicine department using radioactive isotopes for enhanced diagnostic imaging. The technologist performs all nuclear medicine procedures.

Required Qualifications
Registered and licensed by the American Registry of Nuclear Medicine Technology and the State of California. CPR Certification Required.

Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Preferred Qualifications

2 years progressively more responsible experience in a nuclear medicine related program/job.

PET experience

Knowledge of university and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms
