Be part of a team that delivers high-quality guest experiences across our portfolio. This role focuses on massage and body treatment services for members and clients, with emphasis on safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
Your Role
As the Massage Therapist, you will provide safe massage and body treatment services to our members and clients. Massage Therapists are considered experts in their field and entrusted with providing memorable, high-quality experiences for our clients.
What Your Day Will Look Like
Massage and body treatment services as outlined in the Spa menu within service protocol guidelines, time allotments and product usage
Escort clients to and from the Spa Room
Inform welcome desk of in-service alterations (e.g., service additions or upgrades, additional time, etc.)
Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness standards for all equipment, tools, furnishings, and massage rooms
Restock and maintain supplies in massage rooms during each shift to have all needed supplies/tools at hand to perform each service
Follow and perform all sterilization routines
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the spa rooms
Revenue Generation
Compensation is commission based, with massage therapists earning 50 percent of revenue for each service they perform
Recommend massage and body treatment add-ons and services for each client, explaining the purpose and benefit of each service and product
Develop and suggest new massage and body treatment services and programs; promote spa programs and services with the goal of enhancing member participation
Communication and Relationships
Deliver exceptional service experience to members, guests, and Associates with a goal of retaining clients for repeat business
Keep welcome desk informed of your whereabouts during your shift should you leave the spa
Communicate timely and follow up, as appropriate
Active participation in required events, programs, meetings and trainings
Requirements
What It Takes to Succeed
Education: Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
Experience: Previous massage and body treatment experience, 500 hours of training. Valid State Massage Therapy License
Sales and Marketing: Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, and sales techniques.
Written Comprehension and Expression: Ability to read, understand and communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand
Oral Comprehension and Expression: Ability to understand and communicate so others can understand ideas and information
Computer: Ability to develop and maintain computer records in Word, Excel and other software required by be FITNESS and regulatory agencies. Ability to develop tracking and report forms in Word and Excel as needed
Mandatory Requirement: U.S. Work Authorization (required).
