Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Stewart Smiles in College Station, TX, is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join our dedicated team. Our practice is known for its warm, welcoming atmosphere and commitment to providing exceptional patient care. As an orthodontic assistant, you’ll both assist the orthodontist and provide direct care to our patients as prescribed by the orthodontist. You will play a vital role in creating life‑changing, beautiful smiles. You’ll interact with both patients and their families as you treat and educate patients throughout the day.

Responsibilities

Assist the orthodontist in direct patient care.

Complete orthodontic procedures as prescribed by the orthodontist.

Chart treatment provided in patient charts.

Educate patients and families on orthodontic care and procedures.

Take radiographs and photographs for patient records.

Sterilize instruments.

Clean and disinfect operatories between patients.

Restock operatories.

Talk with patients and families to build relationships.

Qualifications

Texas Registered Dental Assistant.

2 Years of Orthodontic or Dental experience is preferred.

Fun, energetic, welcoming personality.

Excellent bedside manner.

Team player.

Detail‑oriented.

Excellent English is required.

Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Compensation
$35,000 - $40,000 yearly
