Position Summary
Therapist – Outpatient Hospital in San Marcos. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for developing and writing treatment plans and discharge summaries within established time frames and formats.
Acts as liaison with other disciplines, colleagues, physicians, families, and outside agencies.
Assesses, designs, structures, and implements therapeutic services that best meet the needs of patients and their families.
Works collaboratively as a member of the treatment team.
Will work under the direct supervision of the Clinical Services Director.

Qualifications
Master's Degree in Behavioral Health field
Licensed to practice psychotherapy in Texas (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) or under supervision for licensure (LMSW, LPC-I, or LMFT-A)
At least 6 months experience in individual, group, and family therapy, case management, and discharge planning in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric facility
Familiarity with ethical and legal issues regarding reporting of abuse and neglect
Prior inpatient adult psychiatric experience preferred
