Overview
We are seeking a part time skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic team at Sonoran (ASC) Ambulatory Surgery Center. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients while ensuring their safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
Operate and manage diagnostic imaging equipment including X-ray and fluoroscopy machines, following established protocols and safety standards.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical personnel to ensure the accurate and timely capture of imaging results during surgical procedures.
Review and evaluate the quality of images to guarantee optimal diagnostic interpretation.
Maintain organized and accurate records of imaging procedures and ensure patient confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and answering any questions to ensure a smooth and supportive experience.
Assist in the development of imaging protocols and contribute to quality assurance initiatives to optimize patient care.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiologic technology and techniques to continually enhance skills and service offerings.
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field from an accredited program.
Valid and current license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the state.
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent credentials.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with experience in a surgical or clinical setting preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain focus and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
