Requirements
Active CO single‑state or Compact RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience
Required certifications (must be AHA and active through contract start): BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited nursing school required; BSN preferred
Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Responsibilities
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient nursing care in the ED
Provides health teaching, counseling, therapy, and treatment to support patient life and well‑being
Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
On‑call required during scheduled shifts
Weekend availability required
Floating to other departments may be required based on business needs
Charts using Epic EMR
Additional Information
Candidates who were permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
