Job Duties
Provide care for the elderly and/or disabled adults with developmental disabilities in the privacy of their own homes.
Personal Care Assistance (bathing, toileting, dressing and personal hygiene).
Monitor client safety within the home / supervision.
Light Housekeeping: sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, laundry, etc.
Ambulation and Transferring Assistance.
Transportation – Assist with scheduling transport to doctor appointments / running errands.
Grocery Shopping / Assist with online shopping.
Meal Preparation.
Companionship.
Assist with client personal goals.
Provide friendly medication reminders.
Job Requirements
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Have reliable form of transportation.
Must be able to work with male and female clients.
Must be able to pass a Level II Background Check.
Certification Requirements
Proof of a negative Tuberculosis (TB) Screening (a TB Skin test can be administered at our office for a cost of $90).
CPR and First Aid Certification.
Alzheimer's / Dementia Certification.
HIV / AIDS Certification.
