Registered Nurse
Seeking qualified RN's to work day shift, night shift, PT, or Per Diem at Palo Verde Behavioral Health Hospital.
Palo Verde Behavioral Health Hospital provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults suffering from mental health and addictive illnesses. PVBH is an 84-bed short-term acute care hospital offering inpatient, partial, and intensive outpatient hospitalization, as well as specialized treatment programs for chemical dependency.
Responsibilities
Provide excellent care, comfort, and security to patients and families. Offer support during vulnerable times and contribute to a patient‑first environment.
Qualifications
Graduate of accredited School of Nursing or baccalaureate program required; current licensure as a registered nurse by the State of Arizona.
Clinical experience in a psychiatric setting preferred.
Certified in CPR upon hire and bi‑annually thereafter.
Must possess or obtain and be able to perform Handle With Care within 30 days of hire and re‑certify as needed.
Must complete all required mandatory in‑services annually.
Must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or have the ability to obtain one.
Must be tested for Tuberculosis with a PPD skin test or chest X‑ray upon hire and as required thereafter.
