
National Service Technician

Mazak Corporation is looking for a National Service Technician to join the National Service team at our National Technology Center located in Florence, KY. The National Service Technician will work with a team to complete machine installations and operational functions related to any Mazak Open House events held at the National or Regional Technology Centers & Technical Centers, industry trade shows, or any high-profile customer and / or large machine / system installations that require additional site support beyond normal expectations.
Scope and Responsibilities
Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees
Support machine movements, installs, shipments in & out of NTC
Support large machine / automation installations (including on‑site) / open houses or events / trade shows
Perform machine installations including assembly, leveling, aligning, adjusting, calibrating and wiring of machines and accessory options
Test operation of machine and accessories to conform functionality and that the installation is complete
Complete reports documenting the installation, assessment of any reported issues and actions taken to complete the project
Help maintain a clean and organized appearance in the NTC
Domestic travel and occasional international travel is required
Education / Certification
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
2‑year technical degree is preferred
Skills
Read/understand engineering drawings
Understanding of PLC/HYD/Pneumatic circuits
Basic computer skills
Electrical, Mechanical and Programming skills are preferred
Crane & Fork truck certification is preferred
Minimum of two (2) years' experience in maintenance and repair of CNC equipment
