Overview
Registered Nurse – ICU , Tillamook, Oregon. Travel assignment starts 05/18/2026 for 13 weeks. Pay: $1,904–$2,035 per week. Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (3 per week, 36 hours). Setting: home healthcare - hospice. The role delivers coordinated nursing care per established standards and supervises nursing staff while collaborating with other disciplines in a home hospice context.
Responsibilities
Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients per the nursing process and established standards.
Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered; monitor patient status and respond to changes.
Perform ongoing assessments, contribute to care planning, and evaluate patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families on care plans, symptom management, and safety; ensure smooth coordination with interdisciplinary teams.
Document care accurately and maintain compliance with policies and procedures in a home hospice setting.
Requirements
Active RN license in Oregon (or eligibility to obtain) for professional practice.
ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred; strong clinical assessment skills required for home hospice care.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS may be preferred or required by setting.
Ability to work autonomously in a home healthcare environment; comfortable coordinating with families and interdisciplinary teams.
Willingness to travel within the assigned area to provide patient care during the scheduled shifts.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program; demonstrated readiness for high-acuity care in a home setting.
