Jackie Cooper Nissan is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As a Technician with Imports experience, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing Nissan model vehicles, ensuring our customers receive top-quality service.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic tests using specialized equipment and software
Execute routine maintenance tasks and complex repairs
Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in vehicles
Utilize manufacturer-specific tools and follow manufacturer guidelines for all repairs
Explain technical issues and repair procedures to service advisors and customers
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols
Stay updated on the latest technologies and repair techniques
Achieve and maintain ASE certification
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the service department
Document all repair and maintenance work accurately in the service management system
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Nissan training/experience/certification (preferred)
Proven experience as an automotive technician
Current ASE certification (preferred)
In-depth knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems
Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and manufacturer-specific tools and software
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively
Good communication skills for interacting with team members and customers
Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
