Wastewater Collection System Operator

What will you be doing at Woodard & Curran?
The wastewater collection system operators participate in the operations and maintenance of our Wastewater Collection System and/or Wastewater Pumping Stations. This may include CCTV work, line repair and replacement, road flagging and water disconnects. The operator may also support the operation of wastewater treatment plant equipment. Responsibilities include skilled, journeyman‑level work in monitoring, repairing and controlling the functioning of pump station and plant equipment and processes.

Normal work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

What will you need to succeed?

High School diploma or equivalent.

Valid Class A CDL is preferred.

Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.

1–3 years’ experience in the wastewater industry is preferred.

Valid driver’s license.

May require on‑call duty, irregular schedule and overtime hours.

Successful candidates must complete a DOT background check, pre‑placement physical and drug screen before employment.

$20 – $28 an hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
