Key Responsibilities
Perform accurate diagnosis and repair of vehicle issues using scan tools and visual inspection (Check Engine Light, system faults, etc.).
Replace or repair defective components including: belts, hoses, radiators, sensors, water pumps, starters
Suspension systems (control arms, shocks, struts, ball joints)
Brake systems (pads, rotors, drums)
Air conditioning systems (compressors, evaporators, condensers)
Oil leaks, gaskets, seals, and other related engine issues
Conduct routine maintenance services: Oil changes, tire rotations, tune-ups
Fluid exchanges (transmission, coolant, differential)
Deliver high-quality general mechanical repairs on both foreign and domestic vehicles.
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members regarding vehicle diagnostics and repair recommendations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all safety procedures and shop protocols.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (ASE Certification is a plus)
Minimum 3 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to diagnose and solve problems effectively
Proficiency with tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair procedures
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Valid driver’s license required
Texas State inspector license is a plus
Dependable, punctual, and committed to quality workmanship
