Occupational Therapy Assistant

Reporting:
Director of Rehab
Responsibilities
Implement occupational therapy programs and activities for patients.
Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
Execute programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance patients’ physical abilities and independence.
Adapt treatment to individual patient needs and coordinate care with peers.
Refer patients for additional services when necessary.
Ensure patients and families receive the highest quality, compassionate care.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program (AOTA / ACOTE standards).
Initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
