Position Summary
The Clinical Research Assistant will support multiple active research studies within Dr. Fuemmeler’s lab, with a primary focus on community outreach, patient engagement, and research communications. The role spans several funded projects and requires strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate project communications across the lab’s portfolio, including developing and disseminating research newsletters and stakeholder updates
Serve as a community liaison for the LEGO (THRIVE at Home) project, supporting outreach efforts to cancer survivorship communities and underserved populations
Provide research coordination support for the ACCERT project, including tracking deliverables, coordinating meetings, and maintaining project documentation
Support IRB documentation, data collection activities, and reporting as needed across projects
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Public Health
Experience in community engagement, program coordination, or health research
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, or a related field
Salary Range
$25/hr
