Job Description
The Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the CVICU. The RN will care for immediate post‑operative cardiac surgery patients and will be skilled in advanced cardiac monitoring and device management. Responsibilities include performing critical procedures such as central line and swan insertion, and intubation.
Responsibilities
Provide care for patients requiring advanced cardiac surgery management.
Implement hemodynamic monitoring and manage critical care equipment.
Perform essential procedures including central line insertion and intubations.
Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team and charge nurse for effective patient management.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Must possess strong critical care experience, including CVICU.
Experience with PA catheter, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, Impella, and CRRT is preferred.
Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
