Overview
Who We’re Looking For: We’re looking for a seasoned dental assistant who:
• Has
at least 3 years of clinical experience (required – no exceptions)
• Is confident making
high-quality temporaries
• Has experience assisting with
implants and orthodontic procedures
• Can anticipate doctor needs and keep procedures flowing efficiently
But just as important… We want someone who:
• Shows up
on time, prepared, and ready to go—every day
• Takes
ownership
of their role (no micromanaging needed)
• Communicates clearly and respectfully with both team and patients
• Maintains a
positive, calm, solution-focused attitude
• Thrives in a
high-performance, detail-oriented environment
Responsibilities
Greet patients and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during the appointment
Get treatment rooms ready for examination and procedures by equipping them with necessary sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials
Assist dentists and dental hygienists during any procedures or examinations by handing off dental instruments, providing suction, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team
Adhere to all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use
Take and document vital signs and medical history for patient records, take x-rays of patients’ mouths, and apply a topical anesthetic for dental procedures, if necessary
Must pass a reference check
Must be able to fabricate aesthetic well-fitting temporaries
Must be familiar with Invisalign including taking records, placing attachments, and scanning
Must be skilled in basic assisting such as but not limited to suctioning, packing cord, accurate notes, and explaining treatment to patients
Qualifications
Proficiency with computers, and experience updating patient histories, and with dental software is necessary
Need state licensure as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA)
Certification or Associate’s Degree from a college or technical school training program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation is required
Up-to-date BLS/CPR certification is required
Compensation
$26 hourly potential depending on skills
