Job Description

Conduct chemical and physical analyses to support the development of a manufacturable multisource pharmaceutical product. Provide analytical support for the release of registration materials in support of regulatory submissions. Assist in analytical method validation and transfer activities. Perform assigned analytical tasks in support of product development, registration lot release, pre and post regulatory submission activities. Ensure activities are completed within assigned timelines and in compliance with cGXP's, and company practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

Prepare samples and conduct standard weighing, dilutions, wet chemistry, titrations, HPLC, NGI, and admitted dose analyses.

Follow work instructions, SOPs, and company practices, documenting analytical activities and results accurately and in a timely manner.

Maintain integrity of data and follow written analytical procedures.

Identify execution challenges of analytical methods and support troubleshooting activities.

Essential Skills

Experience with dilutions, sample preparation, chemistry, biochemistry, wet chemistry, titration, pH, viscosity.

Knowledge in gas chromatography, research & development, and new product development.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

BS in Chemistry or a related field; entry-level graduates with lab experience from school are encouraged to apply.

Preference for candidates with lab experience outside of academia.

Experience with physical and chemical testing activities of organic materials.

Ability to work in a team environment and multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Experience with data acquisition software is desirable.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work with supervision using scientific judgment and professional competency.

Work Environment

The team is comprised of Scientist I's, II's, and III's, working collaboratively to accomplish tasks. The environment is a state-of-the-art, very clean GMP lab with a business casual dress code. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM. The organization promotes from within, offering ample opportunities for growth.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
