Overview
Travel Speech‑Language Pathologist position in Urbana, Illinois. Start date: 05/18/2026. Length: 13 weeks. Full‑time, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour days, Monday‑Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. BLS and Illinois SLP licensure required. EPIC charting experience required.
Responsibilities
Work in an acute care hospital setting, primarily within the NICU.
Evaluate and treat patients of all ages across diverse case backgrounds.
Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement speech and language interventions.
Collaborate closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Provide education and training to patients and families regarding care plans.
Modify intervention approach based on patient progress and feedback.
Use standardized outcome measures and appropriate instrumentation in interventions.
Complete documentation according to regulatory and organizational standards.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology or related field.
Current BLS certification.
Active Illinois SLP license required, if applicable.
Experience with EPIC charting required.
One year of relevant SLP experience in an acute care setting.
Contract Details
No local candidates accepted; must live at least 50 miles from the facility. Must not exceed 7 days of requested time off per 13‑week contract. RTO must be requested prior to submission. Contract limited to one calendar year, requiring a 30‑60 day break before potential reassignment.
