Role Description
This is a per-diem, on-site role for a Cardiac Sonographer at Change Of Heart Cardiology, located in Sea Girt, NJ. The Cardiac Sonographer will perform diagnostic echocardiographic tests such as transthoracic and stress echocardiograms while ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. Responsibilities also include preparing patients for procedures, maintaining ultrasound equipment, and collaborating with physicians to analyze and interpret results.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge and experience in Cardiology and Non-invasive Cardiology procedures
Certification or eligibility for certification with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and credentials such as RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer)
Solid understanding of Medicine, particularly in the context of cardiovascular health
Attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate diagnostic images
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
Ability to follow clinical protocols and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant medical field is preferred but not required
Prior clinical experience in a similar role is advantageous
