Sierra Vista Hospital is seeking a talented and dynamic Outpatient Clinical Manager to lead a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.

Position Summary
The Outpatient Clinical Program Manager provides administrative leadership and clinical supervision to the Outpatient Services Department. The role ensures that psychosocial treatment programs meet patients’ needs, community standards, regulatory agencies, and the facility’s performance objectives. The manager oversees administrative and clinical processes for all outpatient services, including Partial Hospitalization, Dual Diagnosis PHP, Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient, Adolescent PHP, and Adolescent IOP. The manager leads and supports a multidisciplinary team of RNs, Master’s level Therapists, Case Managers, and Licensed Therapists.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative leadership and clinical oversight for the multidisciplinary outpatient team.
Manage administrative and clinical processes for all outpatient services offered at the facility.
Ensure programs meet regulatory and quality standards, including JCAHO, NAPHS, Title XXII, CMS, OSHA, and patient rights regulations.
Coordinate program planning, staffing, and supervisory activities for all outpatient modalities.
Facilitate the development and implementation of treatment protocols, patient intake, and discharge processes.
Support staff training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting required by state and federal agencies.
Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of social work or related field and licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years in psychiatric/mental health field with a minimum of two (2) years in advanced clinical/management practice preferred.
License:
California Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor; valid driver’s license.
Additional Requirements:
Strong knowledge of JCAHO, NAPHS, Title XXII, CMS, OSHA regulations, patient rights standards, and applicable federal and state laws governing mental health care facilities.
CPR certification.
Completion of the hospital’s behavioral and physical management training program, including de‑escalation and appropriate use of seclusion and restraint.
