Responsibilities
Provide nursing care in accordance with established standards and practices.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Assist in diagnostic and treatment procedures.
Educate patients and families regarding care plans and treatment procedures.
Participate in patient assessments and care coordination.
Qualifications
At least 1 year of oncology experience.
Completion of bio/chemo or fundamentals course from ONS (or ability to complete within 2 weeks of hire).
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license.
Must meet the American Heart Association's standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renew BLS every two years.
