
Shareholder Accounting Intern

NATURE AND SCOPE
The Shareholder Accounting Intern reports directly to the Shareholder Accounting Manager.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
Lead and promote a positive work culture through Company Values of Safety, Integrity, Quality, Teamwork, and Accountability.
Works within department on day-to-day projects, which include but are not limited to activities related to process improvement, data support, reporting, documentation, and other duties as assigned.
Assist with preparation of stock and equity transfer applications and auditing for compliance.
Assist with verifying and recording security filings, to include crop liens, UCC agreements and equity securities.
Assist with preparation of Shareholder beet payments.
Coordinate and assist in reviewing Shareholder agreements for compliance.
Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this position requires an individual in their Junior or Senior year of University majoring in Accounting, Finance or Business. Course work or knowledge of accounting, all Office 365 products with focus on Microsoft Excel, and Adobe products is preferred. Planning and organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills are critical.
PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES
Work Environment.
The individual must be able to work in an environment with multiple interruptions, office noise, and competing and changing demands. The individual must be able to work extended days as workload requires.
Physical Requirements.
The individual must be able to, throughout the day, input and access information from the computer system, perform keyboarding functions, type and use the phone system.
Compensation Range
Compensation Range:
$20.00 - $20.00 /hr
