Job Overview
The Oklahoma City VA Healthcare System (OCVAHCS) is actively recruiting a board‑certified, board‑eligible full‑time Staff Physician – Breast Imaging Radiologist to support Veterans. The Radiology Physician reports to the Chief of Radiology Service and is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations, including breast ultrasounds, biopsies, MRIs, mammography, and interventional procedures, as well as monitoring diagnostic quality, pre‑screening examinations, ordering imaging studies, documenting interpretations, and managing patient referrals.
Work Schedule
Full‑time, Monday‑Friday 08:00–16:30, with occasional on‑call duties (may include evenings or weekends).
Required Qualifications
U.S. citizenship preferred; non‑citizens may be considered.
Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the U.S.
Board certification in Radiology preferred; board eligibility also acceptable, with additional Internal Medicine certification preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $400,000 per year. A sign‑on bonus may be offered and there is the potential for an annual performance bonus of up to $15,000.
