Prosthodontist Dental Assistant
ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers is seeking a Prosthodontist Dental Assistant to support the clinical team in dental implant procedures and provide world‑class patient care.
Employment Details
Job Type: Full‑time
Salary: $15 – $18 per hour, based on experience and certification
Responsibilities
Assist the Prosthodontist with advanced dental procedures, especially dental implant treatments
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, maintaining strict infection control standards
Provide chair‑side assistance during procedures, anticipating the dentist’s needs and keeping the treatment area clear and organized
Make patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit
Take and process dental x‑rays and assist with radiographic imaging
Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
Educate patients on post‑operative care and general oral hygiene
Support the prosthetic team with inventory management, lab coordination, and recordkeeping
Perform office tasks such as scheduling appointments, receiving patients, maintaining records, and ordering supplies
Collaborate with oral surgeons, hygienists, and Patient Education Consultants to ensure exceptional care
Assist in specialized areas such as oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics
Qualifications
Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements
2+ years of prior experience in a dental assisting role
Prior experience with dental implants or prosthodontics is highly desirable
Strong manual dexterity and precision with dental instruments
Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Comfortable with radiographic equipment and digital dental technology
